How FanLedger handles account, community and advertising information.

• Account information such as email address, display name and profile image.
• Community posts, comments, fan reviews, votes, follows and moderation reports.
• Technical information needed for security, authentication, debugging and service operation. For abuse prevention, FanLedger may derive short-lived keyed one-way rate-limit identifiers from request/network signals; raw IP addresses are not intentionally stored in FanLedger’s analytics table.
• First-party product analytics such as a random browser session ID, the signed-in account ID when applicable, page path, event type and timestamp. FanLedger’s analytics table does not intentionally store raw IP addresses or page query strings.
• Preferences stored locally, such as language, season and theme choices.
• Advertising-related information that Google or other advertising providers may process when ads are requested or displayed, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.

• Provide authentication and account features.
• Display your public profile and content where you choose to publish.
• Operate polls, follows, community discussions and moderation.
• Prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve FanLedger, including measuring aggregate visits and signed-in usage.
• Display and measure advertising where enabled.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Posts, replies, fan reviews, display names, usernames and other content you publish may be visible to other users. Avoid posting private or sensitive personal information in public areas.

FanLedger uses service providers to run the product, including infrastructure and database/authentication services such as Supabase and advertising services such as Google AdSense. Providers may process information under their own terms, privacy policies and security obligations.

FanLedger uses first-party cookies or browser storage for authentication, security, preferences and essential product functionality. If you cast an anonymous poll vote, FanLedger creates a random first-party voting token in an HttpOnly cookie so that the same browser profile cannot normally vote twice in that poll. The server stores only a one-way hash of that random token with the poll vote; that poll token is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Advertising providers may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies to serve, limit, measure and personalise ads. Google and other third-party vendors may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to FanLedger or other sites, where personalised advertising is permitted. You can manage personalised Google advertising in Google Ads Settings.

FanLedger uses Google AdSense to support the service with advertising. Google may process information from FanLedger and other partner sites to provide and measure ads. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google’s partner-sites privacy information.

Ads may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your location, consent choices and Google’s applicable settings. FanLedger does not receive an advertiser’s access to your private FanLedger account credentials.

For visitors in regions where consent is required for advertising technologies, FanLedger may show a consent message through a Google-certified consent management platform. Where offered, you can consent, decline consent, or manage your choices. These choices affect how advertising technologies may use cookies, local storage and personal data.

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. The anonymous poll voting cookie can remain in the browser for up to one year unless you clear site data sooner. A hashed vote record may be retained with poll history so totals remain consistent; it does not contain the raw voting token. Signed-in users can initiate permanent account deletion from Profile → Account & Security. Advertising providers may apply their own retention periods under their privacy policies.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of personal information. You can also use the available advertising consent controls and Google Ads Settings for applicable ad-personalisation choices. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect account and service data, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong password and keep account credentials private.
