Bigg Boss Telugu 10: Shalini remains in competition after secret-room eviction twist
Nagarjuna first announced Shalini’s departure, then revealed a secret-room move. The Sunday twist was not a completed elimination, according to post-broadcast accounts.

Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 ended its sixth week with a misleading first impression: Shalini appeared to have been eliminated, but the Sunday, October 18 episode instead placed her in a secret room. Reports published after the broadcast agree that the initial farewell did not end her participation in the competition.
The week's elimination field included Aman, Vamsi, Varshini, Shalini, Ram Prasad and Rohit. Host Nagarjuna announced safe contestants in stages until attention shifted to Shalini and Varshini. The announcement that Shalini would leave brought an emotional response from Rohit and a farewell inside the house. To the remaining contestants, the sequence looked like a conventional eviction.
The important development came after Shalini left the shared living area. Nagarjuna revealed that she would move into a separate secret room instead of exiting the show. The accounts describe her continuing in the game while other housemates believe she has departed. This is not the same as a contestant losing the audience vote and being removed from the competition, and it would be inaccurate to list her as permanently evicted.
The episode also reportedly included a team dance challenge, won by Naresh's side. That result was a separate task outcome, not the mechanism that decided the secret-room move. Earlier in the weekend, Nagarjuna had questioned contestants over nomination conversations, with restrictions affecting a future captaincy contest. Those disciplinary discussions should likewise not be confused with Shalini's status on Sunday.
The available reports do not establish a firm date for Shalini's return to the main house, whether she can nominate from the secret room, or any guaranteed immunity. They also do not provide independently verified official voting percentages. Some outlets use different surnames for Shalini, so this report avoids assigning one without a reliable identity match.
The immediate Week 6 outcome is therefore a non-elimination twist: Shalini has changed location but, according to multiple post-episode accounts, remains a contestant. Future nominations and any re-entry announcement should be covered only when the programme makes those decisions clear.
