Ghost House task tests Goutham and Wikky's friendship without a real exit in Malayalam 8

A secret assignment during Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8's Ghost House task turned into a test of friendship rather than a genuine exit from the competition. According to an October 11 episode account, the villagers' team was asked to persuade someone on the opposing ghost team to give up their place in the house. Wikky and his teammates decided to stage a departure to influence Goutham, who did not know it was part of the challenge.

Wikky acted as though he intended to quit. Instead of trying to convince him to stay, Goutham said he would leave alongside his friend. He recalled a difficult moment early in the season when he had considered walking away and Wikky had encouraged him to continue. That earlier support shaped his response to the apparent departure.

The two went to the confession room while other participants continued the assignment. The situation affected Wikky, who became emotional when he realised how seriously Goutham had taken the supposed exit. Bigg Boss then instructed the team to explain the staged scenario. The participants apologised to Goutham for misleading him.

The distinction is important for anyone following contestant status: this was a task within the game, not an announcement that either Wikky or Goutham had actually resigned or been evicted. The account says the ghost team ultimately won the Ghost House challenge, despite the villagers' attempt to persuade an opponent to quit.

The episode also illustrated a tension at the heart of the format. A tactic designed to win a task relied on a real relationship built during earlier weeks. Goutham's response may influence how the housemates interpret loyalty in future challenges, but it does not by itself establish a new alliance, immunity, nomination or change in the official contestant lineup.
